Physical Description

Hair: P'tr has unruly blonde hair that falls about his shoulders

Skin/exoskeleton/scales/markings: He has pale skin but it tans easily. He has several small scars from flying slivers of stone, and a threadscore on the top of his right shoulder.

Limbs: One head, two arms, two legs, no tail.

Eyes: Cloudy-blue eyes.

Size/Physique: Tall and burly, his muscles are hardened from years of moving and shaping stone. He has a strong jawline, features chiseled as if made of stone.

Other: A battered shirt with rolled up sleeves; it is his favorite shirt. He wears it with heavy-duty utility pants. An icicle-like dagger was made as a gift from his metalsmith brother. He wears it everywhere.

A bronze, brightly colored and quite large, lept from his shell with a dramatic creel. His voice did not give out, he wanted to be heard! The blue and green who hatched shortly after him gave this big boy a very wide berth. ...

Once they had cleared the sands, it was the blue and green's spotlight. The blue was obviously from the smaller green's clutch, being nearly the size of his sands-sister green. They met up on the dune nearest the group of candidates, and began looking them all over.

We have been conversing in our eggs, said the green to Pyotr, and we decided that you and your brother are best for us.

To Ilviylir, the small blue announced, I am Malmth, and my sands-sister is Steinspruth. We will be happy to aid you in your travels, if you wish.

"Il'ya," said Pyotr, "did you hear that?"

"I did, P'tr," the new blue rider said, grinning. "It looks as though we're proper riders and crafters now."
