Hair/fur/feathers
Ignatius' hair leans toward the yellow end of the "fire" spectrum, fading from bright yellow at the roots to reddish-orange at the tips. The longest layered locks of mane brush his shoulders and below, tilting up and out to lend a wispy, wild look about him. A fine reddish fur covers the entirety of his body, skin some undeterminable pinkish shade of color. His wings are distinctly feathered as opposed to batlike, though having a flamelike appearance rather than that of individual feathers. Their color is similar to his hair, a rainbow of yellows and oranges, reds nearer the tips. Orange banding colors his limbs near the wrist and ankle, and tail near the tip. No other markings cover his body.Eyes
Bright, deep blue, so very strange for a cat yet the very color of a very hot or very cold flame. With such moods, his eyes can look equally fiery or icy.Physique
In a word, Ignatius is long. Though his chest is broad, the better for long flight and fire production, the rest of his limbs and body are long, almost willowy. His musculature is optimized for long travel, long and sinewy; wings are long and wide, good for catching stray updrafts, soaring, or flapping for a while if need be.Clothing
He does not particularly like to wear clothing, and if given a choice will simply wear none. If he can get away with it, he will simply use an illusion of nondescript clothing, a loincloth, or fuzz-out his appearance so nothing indiscreet shows. Otherwise his clothing is simple, from a comfortable pair of boots to loose-fitting work pants and long-sleeve shirt. Colors usually consist of oranges, browns, and neutrals.• • •
Additude
Iggy has a bright, almost childlike personality, coupled with a highly social flirtaciousness. Unfortunately, his naivete tends to get him into trouble especially in matters of the heart. He has a communal mind, wants his friends and family in the same area so they can always be together. And when they can not or will not, it hurts him deeply. He is a little too empathic for his own good, wanting everyone to be happy and often putting himself last, which makes some wonder how he ever made it as a General. They probably don't want to know... Iggy is secretly a worrywort, something that his closest friends have seen a little bit of. Again, it goes back to his need to make everyone happy. If they aren't happy, somehow it must be his fault and he feels a desperate need to fix the problem. He is also afraid of hurting others physically, which might be why he likes to "spread the love" as it were. All of his emotions, good and bad, he feels intensely, and this is tied in closely with his control of the element of fire. He fears that to lose control would mean the destruction of property and the loss of life. He might have something there...Likes/Dislikes
He loves making people happy, mediating being one of his greatest achievements (and worst frustrations) as a high-ranking member of the group. Also cute, fuzzy, soft things such as bunnies, kittens, just about any other baby animal; snuggling. The Americanized Easter holiday. He is very leary of alcohol, for its dangerous affect on his flame; water for its opposite affect on his flame. Also abhorrs discord, chaos, anger, and spite. Those who would hurt another for his own gain or entertainment especially irk him. Anyone under his jurisdiction disobeying a direct order pisses him the hell off. o_O; He dislikes having to use force, though he has no qualms using it once pushed over the edge...Hobbies
Partying, flirting, etc. though he in reality has little free time to himself.Abilities/Talents
Ignatius is the element of fire, or seems to be something close to it. Capable of anything from creating waves of heat and a light breeze to full scale firestorms, forestfires, and some rare infernos capable of melting metal, his powers are only so powerful through many years of careful practice and control (and many, many mistakes). A loss of that control with an explosion of rage and who knows what could happen.• • •
