Cerane is much like the foundation to Ob'lis'ian society. More than her mate, she keeps an eye on the young, making sure their studies bring them up right. Her even tone and calm demeanor make her a natural person to come to for advice and to settle minor disagreements, though both she and her mate prefer to be present for major decisions. Though their rule is equal, through psychology is her focus, and her mate's is tactical.Home

Generally speaking, Cerane is a Cream dragon. Specifically, her coloring overall is a sandy color, slightly peach, almost rosy along her back, more tan on the sides and her limbs, and fading to a pale greyish on her underbelly and throat. Her wingsails are a misty dust-tan color, with a darker creamy-tan color on her wing fingers. Her claws and beak are medium greyish-brown, antenna-like extensions along her ears, neck, and crown pure grey.Eyes
Cerane's eyes are opalescent, like most of Alskyr's dragons. That her mate's eyes are slitted like a snake's is telling of their distant yet similar heritage. Her eyes change color with her moods, though their particular pastel nature makes it impossible for them to flare red with rage, or grass green with pleasure. Like the rest of her, they are subtle, often one color blending with another.Physique
Cerane is slender and serpentine, slightly off from the traditional (Medieval) dragon body-type. Her shoulders are narrow, though her ribcage is broad, able to support strong wing muscles and lungs. Her hips are narrow, and these two features together give her a very feminine look. She has a strong tail, broad vertically but narrow horizontally. This streamlining makes her tail like a strong rudder in-flight.Appearance
Like other Dusanese dragons, she has one leading finger on her wing, and one other growing out from the wing's elbow. And like other female dragons from the island, she has a single clawed "thumb", whereas a male has two. Her ears are winglike, with three "finger" tines per lobe. As mentioned previously, she has antenna- or spine-like extensions on her head, which simultaneously gives her a feminine and a dangerous look. The tip of her tail branches off three ways, and is webbed like a fin. Her elbows have a small claw protruding from each. She walks on all fours, though she can sit on her haunches and manipulate objects thanks to her matching opposeable thumbs. Three toes support her weight on her back legs, and on the inside is a dewclaw which can be used for defense if needed.Personality

Cerane is level-headed and calm most of the time. Clever to the point of deviousness, at times it is clear that the world is better off with her on the side of 'good.' She is known for remaining objective most of the time, which makes her a good choice for advice. She can be alternatively warm and loving, or cold and stern if need be. She can be especially patient with her short-tempered mate, knowing that he handles stress and pressure differently than she. If she were human, she would make a living as a councilor or psychologist.Hobbies
Cerane loves to sit outside under a weeping willow or similar tree on a warm sunny day. Simple things in nature can often give her the means to solve a complex problem. Philosophically, for example, she can look at the dappling of shadow on her hide and think about how a leaf can affect the way sun falls on the ground. The tiny leaf can affect rays from such a large celestial body just by being there.Family
